HOST YOUR EVENT AT THE PEOPLE'S COP HOUSE - DURING COP30

Events between November 10 and 21. Applications open until September 30.

We, the Grassroots Climate Organizations Movement, through this public call, invite grassroots organizations, civil society groups, activist collectives, unions, art and communication groups, and all individuals committed to defending human rights, marine territories, and ecosystems in the face of the climate crisis to contribute to the Official Program of the People’s COP House.

Our goal, beyond offering a space of care and relief amid a tense and exclusionary context that systematically marginalizes river and forest peoples, is to create a space for sharing our struggle through art, collective awareness, fruitful exchange of ideas and initiatives, and collective denunciations for the protection of the environment and climate.

Therefore, we are opening this call for proposals that will enrich our program. From November 10 to 22, we will host events organized around the following thematic axes:

• Recognition, participation, and protection of environmental defenders
• Just energy transition and mining: impacts and alternatives
• Climate justice with a gender perspective
• Combating deforestation and promoting territorial justice
• Confronting slave labor
• Responding to chemical warfare with agroecology
• False solutions, carbon credits, and the defense of Free, Prior and Informed Consent (FPIC)
• Fighting environmental racism and promoting ancestral solutions
• Adaptation: community-based solutions to face climate crisis impacts
• Mitigation: emission cuts and leadership of peoples and communities

Hoping for a diverse and inclusive program that engages different audiences, we encourage everyone’s creativity in crafting proposals. Suggested formats include:

• Panels
• Workshops
• Roundtables and sharing sessions
• Art installations/performances
• Film screenings

If your organization or collective is interested in proposing an activity, please fill out this form by September 30, 2025 — so we can carefully review your proposal and allocate it appropriately within the thematic schedule. After evaluation, if needed, your event may be merged with others — allowing us to include as many organizations as possible and ensure cohesion in our programming.
